And If THAT wasn't enough...
Today I went to Friends and Gems at Crossroads Farmers Market and bought these:
Some people are addicted to buying shoes...
I am addicted to buying gemstones!
Many of the items I bought this week are already made into jewellery - keep an eye out on my
to find them listed for sale!
Have a great weekend everyone!!
As many of you may have noticed, I'm a little obsessed with making clay jewellery... So it's no surprise that today I made - you guessed it - more clay jewellery!
But this time it's a new twist on an old favourite design I released in 2015 - Antler pendants! The earlier pendants featured wire and pyrite and plenty of adhesive. In attempts to make a more long lasting durable pendant, I've scrapped the wire and glue for the clay!
Here are two photos of three pendants currently cooking
Earlier this week I conducted a test with a raw opal to make sure it wouldn't melt in the oven and I was elated to find that the opal was undamaged during the trial bake!
These necklaces will be posted for sale on Etsy as early as this weekend
Have a wonderful day and stay warm eh!
Woah man I am bad at posting on here regularly! It will now be in my agenda to make at least one blog post per week!
Since we started this lovely new year, I've been hard at work making new clay products - Pendulums!
Currently only in silver - these gemstone point pendants feature hand made polymer clay leaves and come complete with a chain or cord (chain up to 35" long and the cord is 17-19" with an extender chain)
These necklaces are $20 CAD and available in a wide range of stones
More coming soon inculding smaller stones and some will be made in antique brass (of course)
I've also been dabbling in making sterling silver clay rings :O
See photos below :)
Today I'm finishing up these pendulums, while enjoying a wonderful documentary "Deepest Part of The Oceans" - The Earth really is so amazing.
I hope you're having a wonderful and warm new year!
Until next time...
I added another video to this post, because it's currently blowing my mind :)
